ditto on the double take. And much sadness. Particularly since up until recently I thought I was the only person in the world who had heard of her. :(

Pauline Hanson and John Laws are chums. The country I live in is refusing to comply with international regulations designed to save the environment. Dubya is in the White House. Europe would prefer to slaughter thousands of sheep rather than innoculate them against foot and mouth because of purely economic reasons. 3rd rate American TV cop shows are using Who songs for their title music. Channel 9 is still the one. Kirsty MacColl is dead and I didn't even know.

In January, I felt hope. I thought this was the year the world would figure it all out. Now all I can believe is that the Apocalypse has come and I missed it. This is hell on earth. There are 144 000 Mormons hogging all the towels in heaven and I can smell sulphur from where I sit. We are the damned.
