I'm not goth, I'm me.

I didn't know the cure was alternative
or Siouxsie or any of that
didn't know and didn't care.

I listened to what I liked, went to places where I could hear what I liked
and met ppl who also liked what I liked.

I didn't and still don't care if they were goth, mod, new romantic or what
ever
because and get this I DIDN'T CARE
I still don't care, I don't care about your labels, I don't care about your
agendas, I don't care about your clothes and what they are saying.

I care about ppl.

give me a beer, some good conversation and music I like and I don't care
what you call it or where it's held I'll be there.

labels are for convenience, when they cease to be convenient, they cease to
be labels and become borders, you know, of the 'I dare you to step over this
line' type border, the everyone who isn't inside my border is an alien, the
xenophobic type border.

Yes there are narrow minded ppl on this NG

I'm not goth, I don't wear black, I have never heard half the music talked
about on this NG, I don't go to goth clubs, put makeup on and I'm about as
androgynous as a bull with a whopping great dick.

but I'm as goth as fuck.
