Danika didn't give me many details about you, just that you had recently arrived after laying dormant for many years and were having a few problems adjusting. I am at your disposal, please feel free to contact me using the usual methods.
I have no idea if you are of true blood stock or like myself one who has found themselves with this two edged sword of eternity and death thrust upon them. By the way blood politics still exist, new against the old. It's all futile, I keep away from it, but you may feel secure in joining a pack. I must say you did cause a bit of a fracas just turning up. We all felt you and could tell you were of an older generation, but no one knew anything about you. The factions have been going demented trying to find you first, and you unknowingly (or maybe not) have just kept flitting round leading them on a merry chase. You are lucky it was Danika that found you, she's a loner like me, she is of real old blood, so she likes to piss off some of the new upstarts, that is why she turned you over to me. You could set off a huge political faction fight (which I would enjoy to watch I must add). If you let me know what political affiliations you have I will let you know where to go. If you want to be left alone I can also pass that along the network. Until you decide here are a few tips.
As it is our driving force I will start with feeding. As before the blood of the young is the sweetest and most vital, but do not count on it being free from ailments. The fast and artificial lifestyle has done something to their systems so that the diseases that use to make the blood of the old vial and bitter can be often found in they young. So if possible take a small sample first, you sill soon tell by the taste if its clean or not. It is much better to take this action then to have to lay low unable to feed while your body deals with contaminated blood. While we are on the subject of contamination, there has developed several blood transferred diseases that naturally don't affect us, but we can transfer if blood from one victim is mixed with the next. It is best nowadays to drain the body in one go, then dispose of the remains. Gone, I am sorry to say my brother, are the days of feasting from several sources round a city until they all dry up.
If you are young (by their standards not ours of course) true blood or were embraced young and haven't had the centuries to age you much, you will not have trouble finding places to feed. However, if you have an older appearance it is somewhat harder to access young blood. They have become so obsessive about protecting their youths from older males, scared that we will attack them sexually (if only they knew) that access to very young blood is almost impossible.
