Overview | The Long Walk

"The Revolutionary Tribunal has found you guilty of counter-revolutionary activities in supporting the return of the detested Bourbon Monarchy.

The Committee of General Security has graciously arranged your incarceration at the Concierge Prison for an undefined period of time until M. Sanson, the Public Executioner, can attend to you.

We recommend you use the time remaining to: put you affairs into order, rediscover your true dignity, revive your patriotism and ensure that your legacy for future generations is one that will be proudly remembered.

Synopsis | The Long Walk

The Long Walk is a Freeform focussing on the last days of 12 Characters awaiting the guillotine during the French Revolution.

An internal GM, as the persona of “Old Pierre” (the ancient prisoner), facilitates internal activities and answers questions on objectives.

An external GM, who takes on the role of guards, visitors and anybody else not inside the Prison, deals with all interactions with the outside world, provides any setting information, and also monitors the Characters objectives.

The Game focusses on Characters resolving a series of life objectives before their time comes to an end, whether through interaction with their fellow prisoners, or attempting to meet with family members and friends.
