A few thoughts...

1. There are days when I really think cutting my hair and wearing a suit would be a good idea, like when I'm beseiged by 47 student politians all wanting to hand me a bit of paper and convince me to vote for them. Then getting abusive when I don't want to take their paper. I have long plaity things, messy hair and am wearing black clothes and gp's - I must be a lefty.

2. I'm vaguely tempted to go to S11 - not in a display of solidarity, or any firmly founded political beliefs - I have some personal beliefs about the ineffectivenness of protest - but more as a social thing, given I know so many people that will be there, and even more so, as a watcher - to stand on the fringes and see if this protest will be as big as people think it will - curiousity gets me everytime.
